Child, Adolescent & Family Support

I work with young people and their families using developmentally informed, attachment-aware, and systems-based approaches.

Areas of support include:

  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Parenting guidance and communication
  • School avoidance, anxiety, low mood
  • Peer, social, or developmental concerns
  • Strengthening parent–child relationships
  • Adjustments during separation or family change

I particularly enjoy working with parents and their children together, helping families build confidence and navigate behavioural and neurodevelopmental challenges with practical strategies.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy provides a structured space to explore communication, conflict, and patterns of relating. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and relational principles. I also support couples adjusting after separation or divorce, including co-parenting and emotional adjustment.

Telehealth

Secure online sessions are available for clients who prefer remote access or live outside Brisbane. Telehealth provides flexibility while maintaining the same level of care, insight, and support.

Assessments

ADHD Assessments

Comprehensive ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

Includes:

  • Clinical interview
  • Behavioural questionnaires
  • Cognitive testing where needed
  • Developmental, school, or workplace history
  • Full written report with recommendations
  • Feedback session to discuss results

Assessments provide clarity around attention, executive functioning, behaviour, and learning needs.

Cognitive Assessments (IQ Testing)

Cognitive assessments explore reasoning, memory, processing, and problem-solving abilities.

They can assist with:

  • Understanding learning profiles
  • Developmental or neurodiversity concerns
  • Giftedness or enrichment programs
  • Diagnostic clarification
  • Workplace or study support needs

A clear, accessible report outlines strengths, areas of difficulty, and practical recommendations.

  • Learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia, dysgraphia)
  • School challenges or underachievement
  • The impact of attention, anxiety, or developmental factors
  • Support and classroom adjustment needs

Reports include tailored strategies for teachers, parents, and young people.
